Getting back on track after PubCon in Las Vegas

November 23rd, 2006 by Stefan Juhl

I spent last week in Las Vegas attending PubCon the WebmasterWorld conference. It was an awesome time that I really enjoyed. I got to hang out with some friends I don’t see too often and I met some interesting new people there.

Some of the people I met there was a couple of black hatters that I’ve only talked to in various forums. We shared some great ideas and thoughts about the darker sides of SEO and it was a blast to meet them face to face.

I also met some guys from Turn, Inc. a CPA ad network who invited me and a couple of others out for dinner one evening. That was a great evening because of the people. Both Bobby Sabharwal, Scott Tavenner and Jim Diaz from Turn as well as the other guys who was invited.

By the end of this day I hope to be back on track and working again. And maybe it won’t be another ten days before my next post.

Finally here’s a link to Guy Kawasaki’s blog just because he was so desperately begging the pubcon attendees for links in the end of his keynote. There’s lot of kinds of link baiting ;-)

I even had the pleasure to meet Lawrence one evening and he definitely seemed to be an interesting guy. And today Lee Odden of Top Rank Online Marketing posted an interview with Lawrence about widgets. […]
