I honestly think that adding nofollow to links on Wikipedia is one of the most stupid moves I’ve seen in a while. It makes me question if they understand communities and spam. Taking an action against links like they’ve done might have a much bigger impact than they can imagine - and it ain’t in a good way!

In the weekend it was reported that Krak.dk demands a $1000 payment from a blogger deep linking to their site. But Krak.dk aren’t exactly saints with their scraped texts and 100.000’s of deep links – including deep links to sites that clearly prohibits it and haven’t granted Krak.dk permission to deep link.

Making the right request at the right time can sometimes give interesting results. A good example is an hour ago when I got access to parts of del.icio.us’s source code. I bet you’d like to see it!
